General Washing

All Duffield Design clothing pieces are machine washable. We recommend washing in lukewarm or cold water with dye & perfume free biodegradable detergent. Clothing should be hung up or laid flat to dry and steamed if needed.

Items made with Tencel™ Lyocell Knit (Lux fabric) are more delicate and can be prone to pulls. To avoid pulls while washing we recommend washing on a gentle cycle with other delicate items and using a wash-safe mesh garment bag. 

Any items made from 100% Organic Cotton and Tencel™ Lyocell Knit are not suitable for machine dryers please be careful and avoid high heat to keep these in your wardrobe for many years to come.

Clothing Storage

Storage of your clothing is just as important as washing to ensure they remain in the best possible condition. We use high quality knit eco-textiles that are pre-shrunk and will remain true to size if following our recommended washing instructions. Because of the nature of knit fabrics some styles hold their shape best while folded instead of hanging.

Any of our Lux styles using Tencel™ Lyocell Knit fabric should be kept folded.
