General Washing

All Duffield Design garments are machine washable. We recommend washing in cold or lukewarm water using a dye-free, fragrance-free, biodegradable detergent. To preserve the integrity of the fabric, garments should be hung or laid flat to dry. A light steam may be used as needed.

Pieces made from TENCEL™ Lyocell knit (our Lux fabric) require more delicate care and may be prone to occasional pulls. To protect these garments, we recommend washing on a gentle cycle with like items and using a wash-safe mesh garment bag. Garments made from 100% organic cotton and TENCEL™ Lyocell knit should not be placed in the dryer. Avoiding high heat will help maintain the fabric’s integrity, shape, and longevity over time.

Clothing Storage

Thoughtful storage is key to preserving the longevity of your garments. Our collections are made from high-quality, pre-shrunk eco-textiles designed to maintain their shape when cared for properly.

Due to the nature of knit fabrics, some styles are best stored folded rather than hung to prevent stretching. Garments made from our Lux TENCEL™ Lyocell knit should always be folded to maintain their shape and finish.
